Recently, the Uganda Wildlife Authority embarked on a fencing exercise along the boundaries of Kyambura Wildlife reserve located at Queen Elizabeth Conservation Area.

The fence launch exercise was commissioned by the Minister of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities Honourable Professor Ephraim Kamuntu.
The fencing has been credited as one of the measures towards effective mitigation on Human Wildlife Conflict thereby preventing animals from crossing through the park to communities where they disorganize the peace of the nearby communities and destroy crops and property.
