Top 10 Events happening in Uganda this Weekend

The weekend beginning Friday 1st  to Sunday 3rd  February 2019 will be quite busy on Uganda’s social scene with a number of events lined up for the party goers right from music events to sports events.

As always at Guide2Uganda we shall do our best to summarize for you all the events so that you can make up your pick. Here is what’s happening on the Events Calender this Weekend.

 

01.  Phaneroo men gather conference at UMA Lugogo

This Saturday 2nd February, Phaneroo will be having the Men Gather Conference at UMA Multipurpose hall.

This yearly event brings together men to talk about concerning issues. Gates open from 9AM -6PM.

 

02.  Cindy and Karole amplified at Rumor Bar

Cindy and Karole Kasita will be performing tonight at Rumor bar, Bukoto in a night dubbed ‘’Cindy and Karole Kasita amplified.

Entrance is UGX10K and VIP UGX200. Doors open by 6PM

 

03.  Ngalabi Short Film Festival happening at Goethe Zentrum

Ngalabi film festival which celebrates short films from Uganda, Africa and Germany will be happening this weekend all through to Sunday.

There will also be a Question and answer session after with some film directors.

Screening starts at 7pm and entrance is UGX10K

 

04.  Nina Roz and John Blaq at Cayenne Bar this Saturday

Tomorrow, Diva Nina Roz and John Blaq will be performing in the Caribbean Dancehall party  at Cayenne Bar and Lounge, Bukoto.

There will be lots of fun ranging from pool games, dance crews and patois competitions.

Gates open by 2PM. Entrance is UGX20K and UGX500K for a Table.

 

05.  Bob Marley 74th Birthday Anniversary

On Monday 4th February, will be Raggae Legend Bob Marley’s birthday and as the norm has always been, there will a celebration  party at the Mix Louge, Centenary Park, Jinja Road.

Catch performances by Ugandan Raggae artists such as Blood brotherhood, RPV the Dons, C wyne, Nalukalala, Disun Future, Ras Tizzo, Sera Marley, Kayonga among many more.

Entrance is UGX10K and Showtime is 7PM.

 

06.  Views and Vibes happening this Friday at the Five horsemen Backpackers

The five horsemen will be hosting their monthly Views and Vibes this Friday  01st February 2019. The night will feature Cheek-O Dread and Since 88/Dark Meme as they will be throwing you back to back deep house sets featuring a live saxophone and guitar session.

 

07.  Big Nite of Comedy at Theatre Labonita

This Friday, Theatre La Bonita will be hosting a Comedy and Music show featuring Comedians such as Madrat and Chicco, Dr T Amale, Kabata, Justin Nantume, Leila Kachapizo and music performances from Bebe Cool.

Showtime is 7PM as entrance will be UGX20K, 30K and VIP UGX50K

 

08.  10 years’ Experience of Eddy Kenzo live in Gulu

Eno Podium Events Concepts and Marketing Agency will be hosting the 10 Years of Eddy Kenzo experience in Gulu this Saturday February 2nd at Acholi Inn.

Northern Uganda artistes lined up to perform alongside Eddy Kenzo are Rasta Joyce, Bosmic Otim, Eddy Wizzy, Eezzy, Young Dallas, Laxy Mover, and deejays  include 256 Deejays alongside MC Kash and MC Zaani from West Nile.

Doors open by 6PM and Entrance is UGX10K Ordinary and UGX30K VIP.

 

09.  Lady Titie in Kubinuka Masejjere Concert at Calender Makindye

Uganda songstress Lady Titie will be performing live tonight at Calender Guest house, Makindye in her concert dubbed ‘’ Kubinuka Masejjere’’ as Showtime will be 7PM.

Artistes to be featured on the same stage will be David Lutalo, Chris Evans, Gravity Omutujju, Ykee Benda, Da Nu Eagles, Daxx Kartel and Cream Production artistes.

 

10.  Jiweke Sato at Nomad Bar and Grill this Saturday

Nicol and Charity will be hosting a night dubbed ‘’Jiweke Sato’’ this Saturday 2nd February at Nomad Bar and Grill, Ggaba Road opposite shell Bunga.

Catch Music mixes by DJ Kerb and DJ Reaganz

Showtime is 8PM
