Ethiopian Airlines has rolled out a new tourism marketing strategy where they have introduced stopover packages in Addis Ababa so as to encourage more tourist visits.
This plan was effected on August 01st 2018. Stopover packages will therefore have no additional airfare that will cater for all leisure needs so as to encourage tourists.
Passengers traveling through Ethiopia’s capital Addis Ababa while proceeding to other destinations while on Ethiopian Airlines network will now take advantage of stop over benefits from Ethiopian Airline holidays enabling them to discover and experience the many historical, cultural, religious and natural treasures ‘’Land of Origins’’.
The packages will range from sightseeing in Addis Ababa, visits to the pre-Christian era obelisks of Axum, the medieval rock-hewn churches of Lalibela, the 9th century mosques of Harar, majestic castles of Gondar, source of the blue nile, jaw dropping Simien mountains, splendor of the lakeside resorts of Hawassa and Arba Minch among many more.
