In the month of July 2018, Brussels Airlines received a ground breaking passenger record of upto 1.020.729 passengers, an increase of 16.4% compared to the same month last year.
The Seat Load Factor increased by 1.5 percentage points to a total of 86.8%.
In the 16 years of operation, this marks history in the companies’ records. The strongest passenger growth was registered on the African network (+34.1%) with addition of other new holiday destinations in North Africa courtesy of Thomas Cook, Neckermann and Pegase.
Passenger flights to Europe increased by 14.9% compared to the same month last year, 6.5% more customers were registered on the North American network, Middle East flights recorded 10.8% and Passengers travelling to Asia increased by 7.4%.
