For the past several weeks, dfcu bank has been surfaced by false, misleading or fictitious information on social media platforms and in articles publicized by various online media publications about the Bank, their Chairman Mr. Jimmy D Mugerwa and Chief Executive officer Juma Kisaame.
The bank unequivocally states that there is no substance to the articles and therefore reiterate that it’s a deliberately orchestrated effort by few individuals with total disregard of the impact this has on the confidence of the Banking Sector, Uganda’s Economy and reputation of good people.
The Bank also reserves the right to institute legal proceedings against those perpetuating these malicious stories and urges members of the public to treat such articles with the contempt they deserve and be assured that dfcu Bank remains a solid bank whose leadership has overseen its growth to become the 2nd largest bank in Uganda.
