RwandAir to inaugurate Ethiopian Flights in April

RwandAir recently announced that they will be commencing flights to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia’s Capital this year in April.

The Airline added upto five weekly direct flights on its schedule from Kigali to Addis Ababa with a CRJ-900NG aircraft.

Addis Ababa does not only serve as the country’s administrative, commercial and financial centre but it also hosts the African Union Headquarters, the United Economic Commission for Africa and many other regional offices for international organisations.

The CEO for RwandAir, Yvonne Manzi Makolo said; “As an expanding young airline, it is imperative for us to fly to Addis Ababa Bole International airport as it is one of the important hubs in Africa”.

She added; “By starting direct flights to Addis Ababa we expect to offer better connections to East, West and Southern Africa” she added.

The Airline will therefore offer seamless connections through Kigali to Addis Ababa among other African destinations on its network.
