Brussels Airlines reports that more of the company’s 32% scheduled flights to Brussels airport, Belgium have been cancelled following the upcoming national strike by airport stakeholders at Brussels airport this week on wednesday.
Passengers contemplating flying to the airline’s hub on Wednesday 13th February are reminded that the airlines has decided to cancel the remaining 72 flights originally planned on the same day and also entirely stop 222 flights as travel plans for more than 16,000 passengers will be affected.
The airline is currently offering travelers the possibility to adapt their travel plans in advance so as to overcome disruptions and discomfort of the national strike. Passengers with cancelled flights can request ticket refund via www.brusselsairlines.com/refund
During the past week, Brussels airline cancelled 28 flights out of the 222 flights originally scheduled for February 13th as they say the national strike is beyond their control since it involves various industrial stakeholders. However, Passengers of the previous 28 cancelled flights were re-accommodated on other flights.
