The Kabaka’s Birthday run will be taking place this Sunday April 7th, set off point will be Bulange Mengo starting 6am.
The Kabaka’s Birthday Run is an annual marathon organized by Buganda Government to celebrate the birthday of His Majesty Ronald Muwenda Mutebi. This year, Kabaka turns 64 years young.
Participants are required to pay Shs10K for the Marathon as this comes with a kit. Proceeds from this year’s run will be geared towards supporting different causes of concern like Fistula (2013-16) and Sickle cells (2016-19).
The run has a 21KM, 10KM and 5KM routes taking you around different parts of Kampala giving you a feel of the city amongst which are the Buganda Cultural sites/Monuments like Lubiri Palace, Kabaka’s Lake, Bulange Building, Kasubi Tombs.
You can run or walk with your family, colleagues, friends or even network to make new friends.
