The weekend beginning Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th August 2019 will be quite busy on Uganda’s social scene with a number of events lined up for the party goers right from music events to sports events.

01. Bell All Star Concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval
Jamaica’s Raggae icons Chris Martin and D’ Major will be thrilling Ugandan fans down at Lugogo Cricket Oval this Friday August 23rd 2019 starting 5pm.
The duo that jetted in the country yesterday promised a thrilling nonstop music action during a press conference held at Mestil hotel, Nsambya last Evening.
The Bell All Star concert dubbed ‘’Fresh N’ New’’ will feature performances from Uganda’s new kids on the block comprising; Vinka, John Blaq, Fik Fameica, Sheebah Karungi, Spice Diana, Winnie Nwagi, Beenie Gunter and Nina Roz.

02. Blankets And Wine Kampala happening this Sunday
The 23rd Edition for Blankets and Wine Kampala will be taking place at the Lugogo Cricket Oval this Sunday August 25th 2019.
Expect massive performances from Nigeria’s fire waist man himself – Skales as he will share stage with Uganda’s Kent and Flosso, Camden West, Mo Roots, Gloria Achillah, Eli Maliki, Herbert Ssesamba, DJ Ciza, Dee Mike among many more.
Gates will be open by 2pm and entrance Shs100K
03. Twins Festival at Namboole Stadium
The Twins Festival will be taking place this Sunday at Namboole Stadium. The Vision Group hosted event will see Twins showcases and performances from Uganda’ crème de la crème.
Gates will be open by 10am, Entrance fee is sh10, 000.
04. Rotary Cancer Run 2019 at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds
The Rotary Cancer Run will be taking place this Sunday 25th August at Kololo Airstrip and in 40 other major towns across the country.
Registration for the Rotary Cancer Run is at Shs25, 000 at select Centenary Bank branches, all Capital Shoppers outlets, Rotary Office on the 9th Floor of NIC Building, and Game Stores Lugogo. Registration will also be done in all major towns that are participating in the run.
Set off time will be 6am.
05. Zzina Sosh Fresh Edition at UMA Lugogo
The Galaxy Fm Zzina Sosh Fresh Edition will be taking place this Saturday 24th August at UMA Show Grounds.
Catch lots of performances from John Blaq, Spice Diana, Feffe Buusi, Lydia Jazmine, Fresh Kid, Daddy Andre, Recho Rey, Kent & Flosso, Suspekt Leizor, Hitnature, VIP Jemo, Grenade and many more others
Gates open at 10:00am & Entrance is just 5K
06. Iteso Mega Bash at Smile Corner, Kireka
Catch the biggest celebration of Teso music happening for the first time ever in Kireka, a Kampala suburb. Get to dance to the beats of Akogo and trending Teso music.
Performance by Simon Yam, Apollo Wilson, Anguria Ayaye, Opera De Master and so many others

07. Old Skool Night at Guvnor
The Guvnor Old Skool Friday will be on this Friday August 23rd featuring the best Deejays, get to dance to playlists straight from the 90’s.

08. Mbarara FC Vs Kabale Sharp FC at Kabale Stadium
This Friday August 23rd, Kabale based Sharp FC will be playing against Mbarara FC at Kabale Stadium in a pre-season friendly game starting 4pm.
Entrance will be Shs1, 000
09. Guvnor Saturday Night Fever
Here’s a proggie for you this Saturday, get to dance in the ultimate Guvnor Saturday night fever as Deejays; Dash, Bryan, VJ Baby Love, and MC Mozeso take you on a night long musical trip.
Dress code is Smart causal, entrance is Shs30, 000 and Showtime is 9pm
10. Views & Vibes 8 at The Five Horsemen, Nsambya
Views and Vibes season 8 is on this Saturday at The Five horsemen, Nsambya. Don’t miss performances from Suzi Analogue (US) Khalidos, Cheek-O Dread and Dark Meme.
Showtime is 9pm, free entry before 9pm and Shs 10k after.
