Catch yet another 2 months of International Conferences and Cultural Events on the theme “Geopolitics in the Year of Pandemic and Beyond”
Building up on the 2018 and 2019 editions, the Kampala Geopolitics Conference are back in 2020 despite the pandemic disturbances.
Phase 1 – October
The Kampala Geopolitics Conference 2020 is on this Friday 23rd October at NBS TV Auditorium with 6 roundtables live on social media and TV. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for 2 weeks, experts and high-level guests will discuss a variety of topics relating to COVID-19, Women & Foreign Policy, the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Leadership as well as Sports & Arts.
Phase 2 – November
November 19th will be the date for further exchanges on the future of the continent. Follow updates live on social media to continue the discussion on International Cooperation, French Language, the Environment, Youth Entrepreneurship, Health and the Europe-Africa relationship.
Inspired by the Geopolitics of Nantes (France), the Kampala Geopolitics Conference is a free televised and online event that aims at creating a high-level, interactive and dynamic platform for dialogue and free exchange of ideas cutting across contemporary, local and international geopolitics.
The partners involved include: The Embassy of France, Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS), Makerere University, UN Women Uganda, Alliance Française Kampala and NBS TV.
