01. NYEGE NYEGE 2020 Virtual Event
NYEGE NYEGE is landing and 2020 just made a major comeback, in the form of unprecedented 96H showcase of the most exciting underground music and arts culture from Africa and beyond. Combining physical parties and online entertainment all in the spirit of togetherness, unity and thirst for a good party.
This year has been unprecedented, and thus required Nyege Nyege to bring an unprecedented festival to family, fans, loyal party-heads that have been locked down and worn down over this year.
Experience over 300 artists, chosen by 45 African and Afro-centric collectives, who will participate and share with you the best they have to offer while you watch as you visit puppeteers in Brazzaville, Rockers in the Sahel desert, Performers from Kinshasa, and so much more.
Lots of Comedians, DJs, Dancers, Hypnotists, Filmmakers, digital artists, performers of all kinds including; Uganda’s biggest stars, Cindy, Chameleon and Afrigo band who will all take part in the NBS TV take over throughout the weekend, making the festival available to millions of people throughout the Continent.

02. Christmas Markets at Kalanoga Resort, Busabala
Christmas Markets at Kalanoga Resort, Busabala is on starting this Saturday December 5th as the World kicks off the Christmas Season.

03. BODA BODA Lounge Kampala Edition at 32º East – Ugandan Arts Trust
Boda Boda Lounge is back starting this week on Thursday. The cross-continental video art festival takes place simultaneously at over 15 spaces across the African continent every two years.
Selected from over 112 entries by artists across almost 25 countries, the final list for this 4th edition includes 16 artists and artist collectives from Africa and the diaspora.
The Kampala Edition daily will feature repeated screenings at 32° East which will take place between 23rd November – 18th December starting 11:00AM to 5:00PM at the new location in Kabalagala on Sonko Road (behind Equity Bank), Kabalagala.
04. Best of Fortportal starting this Saturday

Catch the Weekly South Side Farmers Market at Dancing Cup Plot 71 Luthuli Ave Bugolobi this Saturday 28th September 2020.
Get to do your weekly shopping for Fresh Fruits and Vegetables, Fresh and Smoked Meats and Fish (salmon), A Variety of Cheese, Yogurt, Bread, Sauces, Grains, Jam and Chutney, Fresh herbs and dried spices, take home ravioli and lasagna, granola, honey, coffee, sweets (cookies, brownies and cake), fresh cut flowers, potted herbs and sunflowers, orange sweet potatoes, heirloom tomatoes (in season), crafts and jewelry.
06. 2nd Agro Tour Event in Buhweju District
Buhweju District Production and Marketing Department together with Centre for Integrated Community Development ( CICD-UGANDA) and Buhweju Coffee Growers and Developers Association invite all farmers and interested persons and groups in Buhweju and beyond to be part of Agro- Tour Event scheduled to take place at Nyungu Village, Rukiri Parish, Bihanga subcounty, Buhweju District at the residence of Kajura Francis on 3rd December starting at 10:30 to 4pm.
The purpose of the event is to learn from model farmers engaged in agricultural production in Buhweju District engaged in agriculture and share experiences.
Days Activities shall include; Tour and learning from Coffee and Banana Plantation, Hiking and Water falls Viewing at Mukazianyara water falls in Nyungu village, Fun and Photo Moments.
Come with; Walking Shoes/Gum boots, umbrella and rain jackets in case of weather change and face mask is mandatory while all Covid-19 SOPs will be highly observed.
07. Imuka Access Pitch Fest for Entrepreneurs at Uganda Industrial Research Institute, Jinja Road
Starting this Thursday December 3rd till Friday 4th December, 2020 Imuka Access has Organized a Pitch Fest for Entrepreneurs.
Objectives of the Pitch Fest shall include; To prepare local innovators on investment readiness and pitching, To showcase local scalable innovations and early-stage businesses to investors, To enable and actualize entrepreneur-investor/financier connections.
Activities will be; Entrepreneur identification and selection, Investment readiness coaching and training, this includes document preparation, Pitching coaching and rehearsals, Investor mobilization and participation, Investment pitching for financing, Entrepreneur-Investor connections established and investment process.
