With less than two weeks left before Miss Tourism World Philippines Justine Felizarta competes for the Miss Tourism World pageant crown and she is making a splash early on with her gold and green national costume reveal.
Revealing on its Instagram account, the ALV Pageant Circle posted a photo of Justine’s green in a gold outfit. In the caption, it is explained that the costume is named Sari after one of the characters in the legend of Mount Apo, while the green color is inspired by the mountain and colorful culture of the Moro and indigenous people of the Philippines and is meant to stand for the “growth of the empowered woman.” Meanwhile, the bulawan or the gold accents are meant to represent the woman being the gem of the tribe.
The whole costume is meant to exemplify the “strong and regal attributes of an Exceptionally Empowered Filipina.”
