During the launch event, Extreme Adventure Park’s Managing Director, Mugisha Evas Orland, expressed her enthusiasm for the milestone. She recounted that the park’s history is deeply rooted in sports and motorcycles, with the construction of its first track in 2010. In 2012, the park hosted the MX of All African Nations, where Uganda emerged victorious, defeating all other participating countries.

She stated, “When we started motocross, we believed it marked the real beginning for us because sporting events like these bring people together—families and individuals from all over the world. The initial success of our first gathering encouraged us to find a safe and comfortable place for everyone to enjoy, which led to the growth of the park.”

She added, “We are excited that Extreme Adventure Park not only comprises sports but has also expanded into mainstream adventure tourism, fitting well into the sector. We firmly believe that when tourists and various guests visit Uganda, we will be delighted to welcome them to a thrilling adventure atmosphere where they can enjoy a multitude of activities, including fun, camping, relaxation, luxury accommodation, and unwinding.”

Seremba Geofrey, the Under Secretary at the Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife, and Antiquities, who represented Hon. Martin Mugarra, the State Minister of the ministry, commended the park team for their enthusiasm and commitment to investing in tourism, reflecting a high-end vision. He emphasised that this dedication represents strong potential from the private sector to drive growth and diversification in Uganda’s tourism industry.

“The grand opening of this new office will serve as a central hub for reservations, bookings, and enquiries, making it easier for visitors to access the park’s wide range of activities and services. This enhancement will improve convenience and elevate tourist experiences. Furthermore, you have created a destination where tourists can enjoy swimming, accommodations, Go-Karting, quad biking, paintball shooting, ziplining, high rope experiences, and skydiving, catering to diverse interests,” he said.

”I reiterate the government’s commitment through the Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities to supporting and developing more tourism products, with adventure tourism and sports tourism being among the major focus areas,” he concluded.

The launch of the new office coincided with the introduction of a special promotion called “Spin & Win,” where customers can win exciting activities at the park throughout the festive season.
