Kampala, 20th Jan, 2016 -Just a few weeks after the completion of the ‘Tulumbe AFCON’ campaign, Airtel Uganda has announced the launch of a new campaign aimed at giving subscribers 100% bonus simply by loading airtime on their phones.
Speaking about the new campaign, Airtel Uganda Marketing Director Indrajeet Kumar said, “We want to show our support for the national team, that is giving 100% in the ongoing AFCON tournament, by also giving our prepaid subscribers who load airtime on their phones 100% bonus.”
In order to enjoy the bonus, Airtel customers simply have to dial *162# in order to know their target which they will then be required to meet by recharging. Upon reaching the target, subscribers will receive 100% bonus, which, on accumulation, will be rewarded to them as airtime to be used for voice (prepaid), data and SMS and will be divided in the ratio of 50% on -net minutes, 40% data and 10% on net SMS.
“I call upon all Airtel subscribers to take advantage of this offer that gives them an opportunity to stay in touch with their friends and family, simply by dialing *161# and hitting their targets,” Kumar added.
Subscribers can also check how much bonus they have received or have left by simply dialing *170#.
The 100% bonus promotion will run for the next 4 weeks. Bonus attained will take priority over any of the bundles already subscribed to and can only be used for Airtel to Airtel calls and SMS.
