As Uganda celebrates its 55th Independence, fastest growing telecommunications network Airtel Uganda surprised subscribers with a recharge bonus proposition that offers them with a 55% bonus on any recharge of 1,000/= or more.
Commenting about the campaign, Mr. V.G. Somasekhar, the Airtel Uganda Managing Director, first of all, congratulated all Ugandans upon making 55 years of Independence.
“I congratulate all Ugandans upon reaching 55 years of Independence. Airtel Uganda is proud to be a part of the celebration and, for the next 7 days, will be giving back to all customers that recharge with 1,000/= or more a 55% bonus of the recharge amount,” he commented, adding that this is one of the ways that Airtel Uganda is showing its gratitude to Ugandans for the support over the years.
Bonus received as part of the offer will be valid till midnight of the night of recharge and will be restricted to Airtel to Airtel calls only. Additionally, the bonus is nontransferable and subscribers will be eligible for bonus regardless of recharge method – scratch card, Airtel Money or EVD.
“I encourage subscribers to recharge and enjoy this bonus as they go through this festive weekend,” Somasekhar concluded.
