Last Friday, residents of Kibuli received food stuff in the ongoing Airtel Uganda corporate social responsibility program this holy month of Ramadhan.

The campaign that is aimed at shedding light on the true Ramadan spirit and celebrating this special time of the year with the local communities saw the telco visit Wandegeya and Kibuli  communities in the recent two weeks handing them foodstuffs to assist in preparing their Iftar meals.

The telco will be sharing togetherness with communities through giving out food stuffs weekly to the underprivileged across 24 mosques in Uganda.

So far, Airtel teams have spread out to Mbarara, Fortportal, Gulu, Lira, Kamuli, Mbale, Masaka and Mpigi communities reaching out to as many people as possible and handing out items to help them in unfasting.

The company chose highly populated areas in a bid to to reach out and show support to as many Ugandans as possible. Some of the districts earmarked for Ramadhan donations include Kampala, Masaka, Mbale, Mbarara, Lira, Kamuli, Fortportal, Gulu, Iganga, Hoima, Jinja, Arua, Tororo, Kabale and many others.
