Soccer project initiated by Telecom, the Airtel Rising stars is back again for the seventh edition and this year will feature the different regions starting with Rubaga, Masaka, Tororo, Arua, Bushenyi and finals end with Fortportal 27th August 2018.
The under 17 years tournament is aimed at uplifting young talents where they get the ability to showcase and uplift sports careers and soccer skills. The project that started in 2011 brought to rise celebrated stars such as Farouk Miya, Muhamed Shaban, Martin Kizza, Kezironi Kizito, Fazila Ikwaput, Hasifa Nasuuna, Allan Okello, Pius Obuya, Bashir Asiku, Mathias Muwanga and many other talented players that have made it to the top.
This year, the tournament will see many show their techniques in the 8 FUFA regions. The football matches will be closely watched and followed by FUFA selected scouts whose role will be to identify the next Ugandan superstars.
The FUFA President and Guest of Honor Eng. Moses Magogo commended Airtel for their unwavering support to Ugandan football.

The winning teams at this year’s ARS national finals for both boys and girls will each win 5,000,000 shillings among other individual team accolades.
