Bayimba Foundation under their arts flagship platform, the Bayimba International Festival of the arts recently opened submissions for all performing arts individuals or groups across the region for their 2019 edition scheduled to take place between 01st till 04th August at their events home – Lunkulu Island.
Talented artists in the categories of Music, Dance, Poetry, storytelling, Acrobatics, Film and Visual arts are entitled to submit their profiles, recent pictures, work presentations or recordings, and technical rider or data sheet before April 30th 2019.
Last year’s edition for the Bayimba International Festival of the arts hosted more than 1,000 performing artists both local and international on six stages. Artists like; The Soil from South Africa, Jose Chameleone (Uganda), Swahili Ally (Tanzania), Shamsi Music (Kenya), Shane Palko (US), Pseudopolis & Lewis Lowe (UK), Bolivar Mvulu (DRC/Netherlands) and Ancient Astronauts (Germany/Uganda/Kenya/DRC) entertained revelers.
