Coca-Cola Uganda handed over UGX5,000,000 to John Muwafu, a resident of Kikubankima, Mukono and lucky winner of this week’s Vimba ne Coca-Cola draw.
Muwafu joins the thousands of consumers who have won airtime and cash in the ongoing Under The Crown Promotion.
The visibly excited Muwafu said he had almost given up when he received the message informing him that he was the winner.
“I have learnt that it is good to be patient and to persevere if you want something. If I had given up and not sent the code, I would not be here today. It’s not too late for other consumers,” he exclaimed.
While handing over the cash prize to Muwafu, Simon Kaheru, the Public Affairs and Communications Director at Coca Cola Beverages Africa, encouraged consumers not to give up.
“We have rewarded thousands of Ugandans for simply buying and drinking Coca-Cola – something that they already do as part of their daily lives. We are happy to see that this simple routine is now changing their lives in ways they had never imagined,” he commented.
