On Saturday 30th December, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and First Lady of the Republic of Uganda Janet Museveni hosted Miss Uganda and also recently crowned Miss World Africa –Quin Abenakyo to a dinner treat at their countryside home of Rwakitura.
This comes as promise made few weeks ago when Abenakyo visited State House Entebbe during her Arrival from China and the President made a remark to host her for a dinner treat.
Upon her arrival on Wednesday 19th December, the President urged her to maintain African beauty and reserve the uniqueness of Ugandan Culture by keeping her hair Natural an idea she bought and while on her visit to Rwakitura, President Museveni took to his Facebook Page and posted; ‘’ When we met in Entebbe, I advised Abenakyo to keep her hair natural. I am glad she heeded the advice and re-asserted her African identity. God beautifully created Africas, there is no need to add or subtract anything’’.
Government through the different Ministries like the Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities together with State house promised to support the Miss Uganda Foundation and also support Quin Abenakyo in all her Activities.
