In a campaign dubbed Feed the Streets managed by Nakimera’s initiated organisation ‘Feed the Street Foundation’, the talented, multi award winning singer plans to move across the country every month providing meals to those most in need.

“Uganda’s biggest problem is mal-nutrition, if me and you don’t take the initiative to support those most in need, our future doctors, teachers, ministers etc will die of hunger or the diseases that come forth as a result of poor nutrition.” Grace Nakimera noted.

Upon sharing a few event photo moments on her official Facebook page, a one Ambrose Ishaam D’Alba commented saying “Grace we truly appreciate and acknowledge your services Madam right from yo music to the charity work but as I said earlier we also need such charity services in Jinja. Waiting for u #Mummy.”

Grace Nakimera served the kids along with her mother Rose Nabulya, daughter Macha Rinzen Kalema, and big brother, also talented singer and retired DJ Juju Kiyingi.

It should be remembered that Grace Nakimera has been running such campaigns for over three years. One most notable event was her Ntandika Charity Concert held in Kikubamutwe in 2014. There she served over 5,000 kids with food, drinks from Pepsi, Soap from Kiboko and other Christmas give goodies courtesy of DSTV.

The next Feed the Streets event will take place in the last week of February.
