In an exciting step, Israel’s Ministry of Tourism has announced that Israel will be accepting individually vaccinated tourists from 1 November.
After a period in which many efforts and attempts were made to find creative solutions to bring tourists back to Israel, the Ministry of Health accepted the recommendations of Tourism Minister Yoel Razvozov and his office and approved tourist entry into Israel from 1st November 2021 subject to proof of vaccination.
The Ministry of Tourism would like to emphasise that this is only the start of the journey. We are full of hope that the necessary measures that have been introduced will help, and as things improve it will be possible to ease the conditions of entry into Israel. We will continue to work to increase the number of tourists who can enter Israel, in order to reignite the travel and tourism economy.
Tourism Minister Yoel Razvozov congratulated Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz, who together with him managed to maintain the balance between health and the economy, saying: “This is not the end of the struggle, but only the beginning. We look forward to welcoming back tourism to Israel.”
Sharon Bershadsky, Director of the UK & Ireland Tourist Office said “I’m very excited to be able to share the news, the Ministry of Tourism along with our colleagues in the industry have been working tirelessly over this difficult period and we are thrilled to be able to welcome visitors back to Israel”.
