Newly launched Jambojet recently introduced a new travel payment system where customers can now pay for tickets using mobile money platforms. This means, Jambojet customers can now book for their flights online, at call centres or their offices using MTN and Airtel Money platforms.
This move was created to provide convenience for clients who do not have ample time to visit Jambojet booking office.
The Airline recently started flights to Uganda and currently operates double daily flights departing Jomo Kenyatta Airport (JKIA) at 6:00hrs and 17:30hrs whereas departing Entebbe International Airport at 07:50hrs and 19:20hrs respectively.
Commenting about the new service, Jambojet CEO Willem Hondius said: ‘’ Mobile payment solution has been introduced to give a much more flexible payment method to the customers. “Our customers will be able to easily book and pay for their tickets anywhere and anytime. Jambojet is committed to continually innovating and improving our products and services to enhance the travel experience for our passengers.”
To enjoy this new service, travelers can dial *223#,choose paybills,select Jambojet then select payment method using either MTN or Airtel Money then enter pin number to proceed, customers will then receive a notification SMS along with an e-ticket via email.
