KLM announced that it is soon operating direct flights from Amsterdam to Riyadh, bringing the total number of Gulf destinations it serves up to five in the region.
The Dutch airline, KLM recently announced that it will be operating direct flights to Riyadh from Amsterdam as of 11 January.
The airline has operated in Saudi Arabia for more than 70 years, but it only served Dammam and Riyadh has become its second destination in the region.
The new service will run two times a week and the return flight will have a short stop-over in Dubai.
Yeshwant Pawar, General Manager for the Gulf, Saudi Arabia, Iran & Pakistan at Air France KLM, said: “Adding Riyadh as a new destination in the key region of the Gulf and adjusting our current schedule strengthens KLM’s network in the Middle East.”
With the addition of Riyadh, KLM now operates flights to five destinations in the Gulf of Arabia from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, including Dammam, Muscat, Kuwait City, and Dubai.
Air France KLM group operates a total of 21 flights per week from the Gulf to Paris, Amsterdam and beyond to the group’s global network
