Lufthansa Group, which includes Brussels Airlines, has announced the extension of flight cancellations to and from Tel Aviv until at least November 30, 2023, due to security concerns stemming from the recent outbreak of violence in the region.
The decision to suspend flights to Israel was made by the airlines within the Lufthansa Group following the escalation of hostilities initiated by the terrorist organization Hamas. The group had initially canceled flights until October 22, 2023, but due to the ongoing security situation, they have decided to extend the suspension.
In light of the evolving conflict, the safety and well-being of passengers and crew remain the top priority for Lufthansa Group. The airline group continues to monitor the situation closely and will assess the resumption of flights as the security situation develops.
Passengers with bookings during this period are advised to check with the airlines for rebooking options and updates on their travel plans.
