22nd July 2017 – GOtv Uganda has unveiled a football model code named Maldinho who is set to reward various GOtv subscribers throughout the country with GOtv memorabilia as a way to demonstrate the brands appreciation to customers for the loyalty.  Maldinho forms part of the excitement around the just launched exciting customer incentive campaign dubbed ‘Kwata Kavu’ aimed at rewarding, appreciating and encouraging customers for their loyalty with cash prizes and memorabilia.

“Our below the line activities are going to be intense and extremely rewarding. As a way to strengthen the excitement on the ground we have introduced Maldinho who is tasked with entertaining the crowds in various places with his football trickery. This is aimed at resonating with content our subscribers love – which is football as well as commence the excitement around the World Cup slated for next year’’ said Albert Nga, GOtv Marketing Manager during the launch.

GOtv subscribers stand a chance to win themselves weekly cash prizes worth 10 million Uganda Shillings. Maldinho will challenge customers and revelers on the ground who actively participate in his challenges and reward them with T-shirts, key rings, balls and string bags basing on how best they juggle. To qualify for the cash prizes subscribers are required to either buy a GOtv Kit at UGX 87,500 or renew their GOtv Value (UGX 16,000 per month) or GOtv Plus (UGX 26,000) subscriptions or upgrade to GOtv Plus or GOtv Value. Upon sending their IUC number to 6488 customers will automatically enter the draw to win the various prizes.  Through a live weekly television draw 10 customers will win themselves UGX 200,000 and one of winner out of the 10 will return to win up to UGX 5 million in the cash box.

The campaign is applicable from 19th July to 19th October 2017.
