After a month and a half of auditions and regional pageants across the rwenzori region, July 28th 2018 will be the verdict day for the beauty queens who will be representing mountains of the moon – Rwenzori region in Uganda and the World at large.
The crowning ceremony will be at Uhuru Gardens in Kasese staring at 6pm. The Ceremony will feature lots of entertainment from various surprise artistes, traditional dancers, D’Stingaz and Swidz dance crew.
The handle over will be done by incumbent Biira Doreen Queen (2017 1st run Up) and Miss Nakalema Mary (2017 – 2nd run Up)
Contestants for the year 2018 are; Kahunde Doreen, Tumusiime Christian, Biira Ruth, Masika Doreen, Masika Peace, Masika Gorret Felisha, Biira Jenniffer, muhindo Peace, Kembabazi Rose, Kembabazi Rose, Biira Doreen, masika Gloria, Kabugho Molly and Biira Peace Buhaka.
Customized Corporate Tables will go for UGX300, 000, VIP20, 000 Ordinary UGX10, 000.
This year’s initiative will run under the ‘’Sustainable Peace for Tourism’’.
