In the quest to firmly establish Qatar Airways on the global map as a place where cultural authenticity meets modernity, and where people of the world come together to experience unique offerings in culture, the Qatar National Tourism Council’s is giving out a one like no other “Summer in Qatar” experience with great adventure and discounts at hand.
This was announced recently by the Qatar National Tourism Council (QNTC) which promised a summer season to remember with travel, retail and hospitality offers, as well as a well packed entertainment itinerary, to run from 4 June to 16 August.
In this special “Summer in Qatar” program, citizens from over 80 countries will be with a visa-free access which makes it easier than ever to plan a trip to Qatar.
This program will involve a variety of exciting and relishing activities as well as thrilling experiences to suit any given budgets. Also, there will be entertainment programs featuring internationally hailed musical and comedy performances.
Speaking at the launch, HE Akbar Al Baker, Secretary-General of Qatar National Tourism Council (QNTC) and Groupe CEO of Qatar Airways commented that this year’s summer season promises to put Qatar on the map as a destination for realistic experiences.
“Beginning in June and continuing till mid-August, this “Summer in Qatar” allows visitors to participate in the festivities surrounding the two Eids which bookend the season this year. Leveraging the collaboration between aviation, hospitality and tourism, we are offering discounts on airfare, promotional travel packages, and exceptional airport experiences throughout summer. From cultural excursions to family entertainment, there is something for everyone in Qatar.” he added.
The QNTC aims at bringing together partners from the public and private sectors, for a range of offerings across Qatar. There will be deep discounts and free activities blessing the period.
Some of the special incidents to enjoy include a 25% discount of on all Qatar airways flights to Doha from more than 160 destinations worldwide Starting 15th May, visitors arriving, departing or transiting through Hamad International Airport can enjoy up to 25% off on Al Maha Service – Qatar Airways’ personalized meet and assist service.
More to expect includes the Doha Comedy Festival, international artists, Arab singing sensations and Bollywood superstars, the glittering South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) with well-known celebrities from the industry not forgetting Souq Waqif and Katara Cultural Village who will offer authentic experiences.
