Last Week on Wednesday 14th November, Sadolin paints held a one day training session at Hotel Africana to sensitize painters the need for observance of high standards in the discharge of their contracts.
Mr. Deon Nieuwoudt, Commercial Director for Akzonobel – East Africa, led the discussions and demonstrations geared towards facilitating, guiding and providing upto-date technical painting advise and tips as they attracted painters from Kampala and other parts of Uganda.
The trainings were also informed by the need to aid painters understand the tools of application, characteristics of substrates (substances that are acted upon by certain orgasms) as well as the preparation of surfaces for painting. Painters also got the opportunity to learn how to apply a wide range of products and understand the application of properties.
Mr. Deon Nieuwoudt also cited that Uganda’s construction sector was growing hence the need to inject a high level of professionalism into the painting aspect of the housing industry hence the importance of the training programme.
