Stanbic Blue Weekends has partnered with two major social events for the September edition. This month, attendees of the Kampala Fashion Week, slated for September 27th to 29th will get a chance to buy tickets using their Visa Cards at discounted prices. In addition, revelers at Oktoberfest, the world’s largest beer and food festival set to take place in Kampala on the 29th of September will also enjoy discounted tickets under the same promotion.

Since we launched Blue Weekends earlier this year, we have seen notable growth in on-boarding new merchant’s month on month. This month, we are happy to add two of the biggest social events of the year namely Kampala Fashion Week and Oktoberfest onto our campaign. We are positive that this partnership will provide the much-needed convenience for all individuals that will attend the events’’.
Under Blue Weekends, sitting Tickets for Kampala Fashion week will go for UGX 90,000 as opposed to the set UGX 100,000.
On the other hand, Oktoberfest ‘early bird’ tickets will be sold at Shs 15,000 under the Blue Weekends promotion as opposed to Shs 20,000 for those paying in cash. These are available at the Junction Bar and Uganda Museum. Tickets at the event itself will also be discounted at Shs 15,000, for revelers using their Visa or Master Cards.
