The Easter weekend beginning Good Friday 19th to Easter Monday 23rd April 2019 will be quite busy on Uganda’s social scene with a number of events lined up for the party goers right from music events to sports events.
As always at Guide2Uganda we shall do our best to summarize for you all the events so that you can make up your pick. Here is what’s happening on the Events Calender this Weekend.
01. Entebbe Easter Tourism, Art & Craft Expo
The Entebbe Easter Tourism, Art & Craft Expo is on till Easter Monday 22nd of April 2019.
Daily Activities include art and craft exhibition, cultural entertainment from Buganda, Bunyoro, Ankole, Teso, Busoga, Westnile, Acholi etc, tree planting every evening, bird watching (Entebbe Botanical Gardens, & Mabamba), Entebbe Zoo visits, Boat cruise Lake Victoria site seeing, Evening Boat Cruise to Equator Island, Boat cruise to Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary.
02. Ebbinu Lya Easter Sunday at Sibyangu Standard Hotel, Natete
This Easter Sunday 21st April, get to experience Entertainment like never before only at Sibyangu Standard Hotel, Natete.
Mega musical line up of artistes to perform include; John Blaq, Mary Bata, Katongole Omutongole, Gravity Omutujju, Chosen Becky, Amir Ssengendo, Grace Nakalema, Sarah Short among many more.
Entrance is only UGX10K, Showtime is 6pm.
03. Purple Party brand tour to Luwero this Easter Sunday
The Purple party brand tour will be happening this Sunday at Nimrod Beach in Luwero. Catch lots of performances from artistes and Comedians such as; Maureen Nantume, Vinka, Weasel, Spice Diana, John Blaq, Hanson Baliruuno, Suspekt Lazor, Fefe Busi, Madrat and Chikko, Jaja Bruce among many more.
Entrance is UGX10K, VIP UGX20K and UGX5K for Kids. Gates open by 10AM.
04. Tusker Lite Neon Rave happening in Mbarara on Good Friday
Catch the Tusker Lite Neon Rave in Mbarara this Good Friday. The Tusker Lite powered event will be hosting the biggest party in the western Uganda town.
Revelers should expect maximum entertainment ranging from DJ mixes, Neon dancers, Fun and Games, Silent 3D Cinema and performances from guest artistes.
Entrance is only UGX10K and comes with two Tusker Lites.
05. Easter Camp Fires 2019 at Lake Bunyonyi
This Easter, Lake Bunyonyi will be hosting a Camp fire and tours around the Lake. Lots of amazing activities will be in place as set off will be Saturday at Shoprite Lugogo starting 01:00pm.
Join a team of travelers and adventurous as they take on Zipline activities, bird watching, sight-seeing, tours around lake Bunyonyi, Uganda Equator, Igongo cultural centre and accommodation at Lake Bunyonyi Overland Resort (Dinner, Drinks + Camp Fire).
06. Code 9 Band Fridays Special Edition at Jazzville Bar
Usher into Easter this Good Friday at Jazzville this Friday as Code 9 hosts a Special performances edition featuring Uganda’s heavy weight musician Jose Chameleone.

07. Winnie Nwagi performing at Nexus Lounge this Holy Thursday
This Holy Thursday, Uganda’s sensational music queen Winnie Nwagi will be performing on a live band at Nexus Lounge, Najjera in a ‘’Holy Grail edition’’ as you also catch some Europa games as Napoli Vs Arsenal.
Lots of music mixes from DJ Alberto, DJ Slick Stuart, DJ Hot, DJ Babaz, featuring MC Mush.
Entrance is free but VIP Tables are UGX250k, comes with a bottle and Mixers.
08. Big Tril and Nina Roz at Club Amnesia Campus Night
Ugandan Rapper Big Tril will unveil his latest music video titled ‘’Giddem’’ as sensational Music Queen Nina Roz will be unleashing her new music video ‘’Munda ddala’’ this Thursday at the Club Amnesia Campus Night on a double premiere.
Catch music mixes by all Galaxy Fm Deejays; Nimrod, Switch, Denno and DJ Herbert. Entrance is free for all Campusers with valid IDs.
09. Guvnor Snap Off Party this Good Friday
The Guvnor Snap Off party will be happening this Good Friday April 19th. Lots of sizzling entertainment from in-house deejays; Selector Jay, Baby Love, DJ Ssesse, and MC McKenzie.
Music Performances will be from Ricky Man of the ‘’Ebango baliwanika’’ fame and John Blaq.
Free WiFi on house whole night for you to slay and share moments with the world. Entrance is UGX25K Only.
10. Selector Jay at Fifteen years of Disc Jockey
Popular urban disc jockey, Selector Jay will be celebrating fifteen years of selecting the dopest jams this week on holy Thursday 18th April 2019 at Guvnor Park Yard and Ange Mystique where he started.
Joshua A Baguma alias Selector Jay will be showcasing his vast experience having been in the DJ Game for one and half decades spinning Vinyl, CDs or using Serato DJ software to make you dance out till you drop some adrenaline.
The evening will host two parties in one as he will be mixing both in the parking yard and inside Ange Mystique.
Lots of guest artistes and other deejays will be mixing too, fun activities will be plenty. Entrance is only Shs30, 000 and Shs 1 Million a Table as Doors open by 6Pm.
