The weekend beginning Friday 16th to Sunday 18th August 2019 will be quite busy on Uganda’s social scene with a number of events lined up for the party goers right from music events to sports events.
As always at Guide2Uganda we bring you the eye catching top events so that you can make up your pick. Here is what’s happening on the Events Calendar this Weekend.
01. WSTRN and Joeboy at Guvnor DJ Snap Off After Party
This Friday, Catch the Guvnor DJ Snap Off after party featuring Nigeria’s Starboy Joeboy who will be part of the night after performances at the Smirnoff party.
He will be accompanied by WSTRN as they will put off some amazing performances courtesy of Singleton.
Showtime will be 9pm as entrance is Shs525k for a table of 5 and 2 bottles of Singleton for Golden Circuit Guests while others can buy a table of 5 for Shs400k that comes with 2 bottles of Singleton as well.
Ordinary patrons will enter for as low as Shs25k. There will be free WiFi all night to allow you slay whole night.
02. Breakdance and Hip Hop MC Thursdays – DANCE Jam Session
Catch the Thursday dance performances and hip hop Emcees at The Five Horsemen Rooftop starting 8-11pm, every Thursday, they host talented break dancers, hip hop dancers, poppers, afro dancers etc taking the stage.
The event is open to everyone, so if you’re a dancer, go and show off your skills, If you can’t dance, but want to see crazy head spins, flips among many more, go buy a drink and watch the show.
03. Comedy Store Uganda Featuring Basket Mouth
Looking forward to having some entertainment blended with Comedy this Thursday?, Comedy store Uganda brings you yet another epic line up of amazing entertainers and comedians who will be featured by Nigerian celebrated Comedian; Basket Mouth.
Local comedians on the list include; Maulana and Reign , MC Godi Godi, MC Mariachi, Tata Sam, Senga Justine Nantume, Bisangawano Bizonto, Dr T_Amale, Snake and Zolo, Madrat and Chikko. Catch music performances from; Janzi Band, Spice Diana, John Blaq, and Ray G.
Showtime is 6pm as entrance is Shs40k Ordinary, Shs100k VIP and a Table of 4- Shs500k.
04. A Ka Dope Fusion at Wild Coffee Bar
Get to party in the A Ka Dope with fresh talent and even more dope vibes in A Ka Dope Fusion series happening this Friday 16th August at Wild Coffee Bar, Industrial Area 7th street.
This is the first A Ka Dope event of the season and will feature acoustic performances from Lamu, Riddym, Shirley May and mentored by The Mith.

05. Rolex Festival at Lugogo Cricket Oval
If you are a Rolex fan, go celebrate Uganda’s top street delicacy “Rolex” this Sunday August 18th at Lugogo Cricket Oval starting 9am while you test various Rolex recipes like Malewa, Nyanya Mbissi, Chicken, Beef among many others .
Entrance is Shs5K for kids and Regular is Shs10k and Shs30K for VIP
06. Silent Pool Party at Rain Forest Lodge, Mabira
This Saturday August 17th, Wakanda View holidays will be hosting the Silent Pool Party at Rain Forest Lodge Mabira, Forest.
Lots of amazing activities including a Silent disco, Board games, Swimming, Horse Riding, Deejay mixes among many more.

07. Backyard Chill Sunday ft Naava Grey at Nexus Lounge
Ugandan songbird, Naava Grey will be performing live this Sunday August 18th at Nexus Lounge, Najjera. Get to enjoy the show as she performs all her sweet melodies together with her band.
Showtime will be 6pm as entrance is free but tables costs Shs200k that comes with a bottle.
08. Fresh Herbs & Spices Gala at Kensington Luxury heights, Kyanja
This Saturday, get to enjoy Fresh herbs and Spices in a family day Gala that will take place at Kensington Luxury heights, Kyanja from 10am till 7pm.
Get to enjoy delicious dishes and drinks while you catch some BBQ and Skewers, Stews and Sauces, Cakes and Pastries, Smoothies and Juices, herbal teas and Cocktails.

09. Bike and Beer Tour Launch at Kabira Country Club
This Sunday August 18th, Kabira Country Club will be hosting the Bike and Beer tour launch starting 8am, get to enjoy a beer after embarking on a sports biking experience in a thrilling cycling activity with a mouth-watering tasting experience.
The event is hosted by Red dirt Uganda and Banange breweries who will serve guests with lots of beer to blend up their fun day.
