The weekend beginning Friday 15th to Sunday 17th November 2019 will be quite busy on Uganda’s social scene with a number of events lined up for the party goers right from music events to sports events.
As always at Guide2Uganda we bring you the eye catching top events so that you can make up your pick. Here is what’s happening on the Events Calendar this Weekend.
01. Tourism Dinner at Sheraton Kampala hotel
The annual Tourism dinner will be happening this Friday at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel organised by Uganda Tourism Association starting 6pm.
This Networking Event aims to bring together stakeholders in the Tourism fraternity for an interaction about the industry.
Dress Code will be Black, Yellow and Red while Tickets cost Shs200K and Shs3 Million a table of 10.
02. Fezah Finale featuring Ykee Benda & Evon
This Saturday, Fezah will be hosting a grand finale at Design Hub featuring Uganda’s talented Ykee Benda & Evon as guest artistes.
Showtime is 8pm while entrance is Shs50K Advance, Shs70K at the Door, Shs100K VIP and Shs700K a table of 6 people.
03. The German Car Show 2019
The German car show will be taking place this Saturday 16th November 2019 at Uganda Museum from 8am – 11pm.
The event is to show case what every individual loves about their car and to learn more about other people’s cars and bring together ideas on how to enjoy their cars.
The event will also bring together different party’s like car drivers, car distributors, mechanics, spare distributors, tyre dealers and all other party’s involved in the car business to help each other in one way or the other.
04. Frenzy Friday at Guvnor Uganda
It’s time to add more fun to your weekend. Get ready to groove to some fabulous dance numbers on the Frenzy Friday and welcome the weekend in style. There will be Guest performances from Fik Fameica & the wilded Spice Diana like never before.
On the Turn tables will be Selector Jay , DJ Bryan, DJ Dash and VJ Baby Love starting 9pm.
05. Breakfast Jam After Party at the Five Horsemen
Looking forward to jamming this Saturday evening, the Five horsemen will be hosting the after party for the 9th annual breakfast jam, happening at YMCA this weekend Saturday and Sunday. it’s a massive break dance competition between East Africa.
Catch the dopest Deejay mixes by Deejays from the UK, Ireland and UG.; DJ Snuff, DJ Issa, DJ Maintain, and DJ ARA. Entrance is Shs10K starting 8pm till dawn.
06. Uptown Kampala Season 2 at Hotel Diplomate
This Saturday, Ras Qulah will be hosting the Uptown Kampala season 2 at Hotel Diplomate, Muyenga starting 7pm.
Lots of performances from Uganda’ Raggae artistes featuring; Mightyson, Blessed san, ATa B, Papasanti and Shugaz.
While Deejays;DJ KrysKross,DJ King Shango,DJ Ras Brown,DJ Hash & DJ Santos from Jamdown crew, DJ Raffa and the whole Rockaz africa crew, Mighty River Nile sound system among many more will be on the Ones’ and Two’s.
07. 97.7 Record FM Bango Bash
This Friday, Join Record Radio as they celebrate their new face on Air in a bash dubbed ‘’Bango Bash’’ taking place at Nyondo Club, Najjanankumbi, Entebbe Road and Cloud 10 starting 7pm.
Lots of music performances from; B2C Entertainment, Karole Kasita, Jowy Landa, Fefe Bussi, Spice Diana, Chosen Blood, Young Mulo, OS Ssuuna and D Shiru.

08. Road To The Nile Sports Gala at Dam Waters, Jinja
Adris Digital brings you the Road to the Nile Sports Gala starting this Friday. The event is 3 day team building activity slated for the whole weekend of 15th-17th November. Participants will set off from Kampala on a Friday afternoon, tour Namawjolo and Mabira on the same day and retreat for sleep in Jinja.
Very early in the morning of the next day, (Saturday 16th November), the games will start.
Football will start at 8:00 am- and end 5:30pm.
Touch Rugby Will start at 12:00pm and end at 1:00pm.
Netball will start at 8:00am and end 5:30 pm.
After crowning of the winners, there will be a massive after party with musical performances from renowned artistes and DJ’s till late in the night.

09. Fridays Afro-Latin Nights in Uganda
The Afro –Latin Nights are happening this Friday at AER Lounge in Kololo.
Starting 6pm-7pm its always a free dance workshop to all new learners or beginners (instructor Musa & team) then from 7pm to 8pm-free dance workshop for the intermediates and from 8pm-late is the open dance floor for all dancers and those who would love to watch a listen to the music.
Participation fee is Shs5000
10. The Rising Woman Business Expo at Hotel Africana
The Rising Woman Expo is back this November. Go and enjoy two days of Business Clinics, Networking sessions and view hundreds of products and services from numerous exhibitors between Friday 15th and Saturday 16th November 2019 starting 9am till 9pm respectively.
Entrance is only UGX 2,000 per day or you can choose to buy a copy of the Daily Monitor at the gate.
