The weekend beginning Friday 10th to Sunday 12th January 2020 will be quite busy on Uganda’s social scene with a number of events lined up for the party goers right from music events to sports events.

01. Miss & Mister Bulenga City
A beauty pageant aiming the youths to discover and embrace their talents exhibiting them out and building strong projects that can bless the community.
This year’s edition of the Miss & Mister Bulenga City will be featuring Nina Roz live with a great theme “Beauty with a purpose”
The Pageant will take place at Bulenga Palm Resort this Saturday starting 4pm.
02. Tantal selfie Nite” at Theatre La Bonita
This Friday, the Ebonies will be live at Theatre La Bonita in an evening dubbed ‘’Tantal selfie Nite’’ starting 7pm. Get ready to watch an action packed evening wrapped up with Drama and Comedy featuring; MC Mariachi, Bizonto, Mighty Family, Kabaata, Sunny, Q Kumber alongside music performances by Irene Namatovu, VIP Jemo and Lyto Boss.

03. 911 Premier Thursdays ft John Blaq
911 Lounge brings you the Premier Thursday every Thursday. Catch John Blaq this week as he will be premiering his latest single “Nekwatako”.

04. Fridays Afro-Latin Nights at AER Lounge
This Friday, join the Salsa addicts of Uganda at AER lounge in Kololo starting 6pm-7pm. Be part of the free dance workshop for all new learners or beginners as Musa and team instruct you.
Then from 8pm-late is the open dance floor for all dancers and those who would love to watch and listen to the music

05. Pop Up Moonlight Cinemas at the Five Horsemen
This Sunday, catch yet a new season of Pop Up Moonlight Cinemas at the Five Horsemen at no cost. Lots of Popcorn, dinner, wine, beers among many more as you enjoy the movies

06. Nerd Night at Bushpig Backpackers, Kololo
This Thursday, be part of the first Nerd Night for the New Year at Bushpig backpackers, Acacia Road, Kololo while you learn something new and meet your fellow Kampala-ites.

07. Janzi Band Night Official Launch at Nexus Lounge

09. Real Old Skool at Café Bea, Kabale

10. Chinese New Year Celebration
The Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Uganda H.E. Zheng ZhuQiang will be the lead guest as Chinese in Uganda usher in the New Year this Saturday at Makerere University, Kampala.
This important event will also celebrate another year of Makerere’s collaboration with China and the Uganda-China relations. The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday 11th January at 1500hrs EAT. The celebration will feature world class performances by Chinese artists and acrobatics.
The Venue will be CTF 2 and entrance is free.
