This weekend starting Friday 7th Feb- Sunday 9th Feb comes with exciting events that could dearly soothe your peace of mind. 1. The Party Bus – Jinja
Party Bus to Jinja! Party guys, this Friday 7th Feb. 2020, the party bus is coming to the Bourbon Jinja at the shores of river Nile with a return on Sunday 09th Feb. 2020. The event is hosted by the diva, Lynda Ddane. The pickup location will be at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds with a ticket going for Ugx. 85,000 that covers transport and activities. The party starts from the Bus with silent disco, then a forest walk in Mabira Hit the bars in Jinja that Friday evening. Then go tour Jinja on Saturday, the source of the Nile and other fun stuff. 2. Run4climate
Events for health and life. Here is one. This Sunday starting 8 AM – 2 PM at Makerere University Freedom square, the Run4climate event has been organized by Tree Adoption Uganda in partnership with OLSCUG to help rehabilitate the victims in Bududa and plant trees in the area. The event aims at creating communities where people and nature flourish. Participation is everything. Get fit, challenge yourself, inform policy and increase synergy for climate change. Get tickets now at only Ugx. 20,000 (that comes along with a kit) for you and your loved ones and help create awareness and raise funds for a great cause. 3. Against All Odds Talks
The 9th edition of Against All Odds Talks is on this Saturday 8th Feb. 2020 at Kabira Country club. The event hosted by Betty Ogiel Rubanga is a platform where you add value to yourself while transforming lives through education. The event will run under the theme “Making your 2020 a masterpiece.” Entrance to the event will be at Ugx. 35,000 starting from 4-7pm. All the proceeds from the talks go to keeping a needy orphan girl in University who currently requires 4 million Uganda Shillings for the second Semester, Year two.
4. Laugh with Owakabi Comedy Show Ft OkengBorntown &Lil Roy2020
Hey Gulu town flicks. This Friday night 07 Feb. 2020 comes with an all astonishing glamourous performance at the Eyemax Cinema Gulu town. It’s another Friday not to miss. 5. High Tea for the Uganda Heart Institute
This 8th February, Students at the 7Hills International School have organized a “High Tea” from 4-5pm to raise funds for the Uganda Cancer institute. On the same day, from 1-4pm at 7Hills there will be arts and crafts workshops for everyone; kids and adults, all can attend. Entrance to the event is free of charge. Come support cancer patients.
6. Birding in Mabira Forest
Looking out for a simple outing with family and friends in the wild this weekend, MUJJE safaris is hosting a bird watching and tracking in the beautiful sceneries of Mabira forest this Saturday 78th beginning 6:30 AM – 7 PM in Mabira forest, Jinja, Uganda. 8. Brunch In The Jungle
Another weekend plot headliner. Last weekend was amazing! This one will be just as great. The event starts Sunday from 12 PM – 10 PM at The Oasis in Industrial Area. Come enjoy great tunes with hot Djs, dance and drink up. Entrance to the event is free. We can’t wait for the party!
9. Stanbic Uganda Cup – Round of 32
Soccer fans, are you there!! We going up country this weekend. This Sunday 16th Feb, Kabale town soccer darlings will be entertained as their big league side Kigezi Homeboyz FC takes on super league side Kyetume FC in an event scheduled to take place at kabale Municiple stadium in the Stanbic Uganda cup football competition. The kick off to the game will be at 4pm. Tickets to the event go for 1k ordinary and 5k VIP with payments at the entrance acceptable. Come watch the Gorillas claim the pride of the highlands.
10. KUSH Lounge grand Opening
Come out this Saturday, February 8th to late (5am), for the official grand opening of Kush Lounge located at Plot 35 Acacia Avenue, Kololo, Kamapala.
