The weekend beginning Friday 12th to Sunday 14th July 2019 will be quite busy on Uganda’s social scene with a number of events lined up for the party goers right from music events to sports events.

1. Neon at The Bridge 2
The big night party is happening this Saturday, 13th July at Forever Resort Jinja. The Neon at the Bridge 2 returns in season 3 of the Club Evoke Nights. The event hosted by Club Pilsner is back with a fresh look. Hurry, Round up the gang, pack a bag and come experience a night of fresh vibes, dope performances and bright lights! Gates to the event will be open at 3pm till late and an Entrance fee of 10k that comes with a free club beer. Come Refresh Your Beat
2. The Elgon Cup
Friends of Rugby1! Here is a supper Saturday for you. The return leg of Elgon Cup 2019 is on Saturday, July 13th at Kyadondo rugby grounds. Come watch the exciting game as the Rugby cranes take on the The Simbas from Kenya. Gates to the venue open by 12 PM – 7 PM. The Nile Special hosted game will be live at Kyadondo Rugby grounds behind Lugogo village mall. General access tickets go for 20k while the VIP tickets will be sold at 50k.
3. NCF Family Cancer Walk 2019
Nkesiga Cancer Foundation has organized the 3rd Annual walk dubbed “Walking, a Lifestyle Against Cancer” that will be held on the 13th July 2019 at Nakasero Primary school grounds starting 6:00am. The event’s Chief Walker is Hon Jacob Oulanyah, The Deputy Speaker of Parliament. Tickets to the event are available at All Saints Cathedral Nakasero and St Francis Chapel Makerere.: Children: UGX 20,000/= Adults: UGX 25,000/= Proceeds from the walk are to support the Eseza cancer foundation children.

4. Swahili Blues Explosion
Leo Mkindya is back in town with the Swahili Blues Explosion. The journeyman from Tanzania will be bringing the local flavors across Lake Victoria for our listening pleasure Blues Music & Soul Food this Friday 12th July starting 8:30 PM – 11:24 PM at the Big Kafunda, Ggaba Rd, Kansanga (Opposite Bank of Baroda), Kampala, Uganda.
Entry is free.
5. Uganda Zaabu Art & Craft Exhibition
Starting this Sunday, Jul 14 at 8 AM – Jul 15 at 4:30 AM, come experience the power of Ugandan art at the Uganda Zaabu Art and Craft exhibition. Termed as the art and craft exhibition that is not going to leave Ugandans the same, expected is fun. experience, buy or commission, observe and discover the great Art works by Ugandan hands. The event is hosted by Blessed Urban Arts Uganda and will take place at Grand Imperial Hotel, Kampala.
6. C Sharp Jazz at Native Lounge Nansana
The great C Sharp Jazz Band will be playing this at Native Lounge Nansana this Friday 12th July 2019 from 9pm to 1am. go enjoy the native live band tunes with your instrument specialists lighting up your night.
7. Mix and Grill Sunday
Another big Sunday is here, EXO Dance and Night Club brings to your another exhilarating Sunday night out starting Jul 14 at 4 PM – Jul 15 at 6 AM, go enjoy the company of beautiful People, Card and Board Games, good food, offers on drinks and the best music you didn’t know you needed for a Sunday party! The event is Hosted by J Selector Jay and Produced by Bryan Sabiiti Mckenzie.
8. Children’s Yoga
Yoga Studio Entebbe will have children yoga classes at the Yoga Studio this Sunday 14th July 2019 from 5pm to 6:30pm.
Class fees will be 20k per child. This will be a Hatha based Yoga practice. All kids aged 4-14 years are allowed.
9. Sunday SUSHI Buffet
Having fresh and best SUSHI in town is not common. Yamasen Japanese Restaurant creates its own original SUSHI with fresh fish from Mombasa and Norway. The great chefs at Yamasen are keen at creating the best for the day. This Sunday, 14th July, come have a variety of different SUSHI in what has been called SUSHI BUFFET. 10. The Gathering
A performance by Clay Dance Company produced by Batalo East, titled The Gathering will be at the Uganda National Cultural Centre on Sunday, 14th July 2019 starting 5 PM – 6:30 PM and promises a performance showcasing and celebrating 10 years of Clay Dance Company. The production welcomes spectators of all kinds, with tickets available at the box office of the National Theatre, Reception at Design Hub and Power FM Offices at only 25k for the early bird tickets and 40k on the day.
