01. PRAU Symposium at Golf Course Hotel
The Public Relations Association of Uganda (PRAU) will be hosting its annual Symposium at the Golf Course Hotel in Kampala.
Hon. Thomas Tayebwa the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Uganda will preside over as the Chief Guest for the Symposium.
The panel is lined up with a dozen of industry leaders including KCCA Executive Director Dorothy Kisaka, John Musinguzi the URA Commissioner General, Nicholas Lutakome the CEO of CIC Insurance, Dr Barirega Akankwasah the Executive Director for NEMA, and the sessions will be moderated by Vision Group CEO Don Wanyama.
Entrance Fee is Shs150k for PRAU Members, Shs200k for Non Members, Shs70k for Students and Shs3M for a Table.
02. Oldies Night Live Edition at Guvnor
This Friday, Guvnor Uganda will host the Oldies Night Live Edition featuring live performances by BlackRoots Academy of Soul and BlackRoots Unlimited performing the finest Soul-RnB and Contemporary Jazz Classics
Thereafter, Kampala’s Finest Oldies & Old Skool DJs – Rota, Kim DJ, Paul Sents, DJ Brian, DJ Mark Rebel, DJ Frank, Bob Man and DJ Wasswa will keep you nailed to the dance floor!
Doors Open 7 pm (Performances start 8 pm)

03. Medical Camp in Nakulabye
This Saturday 8th June, the Ethiopian Refugee Camp in Uganda will be hosting a free medical camp in partnership with RELAYHelp.
Go and take advantage of a wide range of free medical services including HIV testing, deworming, malaria testing and treatment, prostate and cervical cancer screening, blood sugar and pressure test and treatment, ulcer testing, Respiratory infections, syphilis and hepatitis B screening, Family planning, pregnancy test, ultrasound and maternity kits for expectant mothers, Vitamin A for children below 5 years, and eye check-ups.
Venue will be Mutagubya Street, Nakulabye near Inter Tropical Hotel.
04. Alex Ndawula & Fallen Deejays Tribute Night
This Friday, Old Tymerz Bar and Grill will be hosting a tribute night for fallen veteran deejay and radio presenter Alex Ndawula and fallen deejays including Ronnie, Bangi, Cantankerous, Bashabe, Bruno, MC Afrik, Paul Massive Nyakojo, and DJ Berry.
Music will be played by Frankie Pro and DJ Bonnie as well as guest deejays including Cosby, Hunt, Mark R, Michos, Denno, KK and Dings.
05. Scotch Friday at H20 Lounge Bukoto
Usher in the weekend this Friday at H20 Lounge in Bukoto as they will be hosting the Scotch Friday.
Expect lots of entertainment and deejay mixes from DJ Brunxx, Bancs, Magic Touch, Lyn Day, and MC Bryp Maritz and Topboy.
06. The Love List Stage Play at National Theatre
Singer and Actress Hellen Lukoma will start this Friday 7th to Sunday 8th June have a stage play dubbed ”The Love List” at the National Theatre.
Entrance is Shs50k and showtime is 7 PM.
07. Uganda Film Festival 2024 Gala Award Night
The Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) is hosting the Uganda Film Festival 2024 Gala Award night this Friday 7th June at the Uganda Information and Communications Technology Institute in Nakawa, Kampala Uganda.
The night will award film creators, makers and producers under the theme ”Awarding Excellence in Film” – Local Stories, Global Impact.
09. The Imara Women’s Centre Fundraising Dinner
Ugandan Musicians Juliana Kanyomozzi and Rema Namakula will be headline acts at the Imara Women’s Centre Fundraising Dinner scheduled for Saturday, June 15th 2024 at Kampala Serena Hotel Victoria Hall.
Entrance is Shs250k for VIP Single and Shs6M for a Table.
10. Rugby Legends Games at Kings Park Arena
Rugby Legends Games will be battling it out this Saturday, June 8th at Kings Park Arena in Bweyogerere.
Come witness live Rugby as legends tassel out each other starting 4pm.
Entrance is Shs20k.
