On Wednesday May 8th, new hotel property – Hilton Garden Inn opened commercial operations to travelers and accommodation fanatics in a glamorous ceremony graced by Minister for Tourism Prof. Ephraim Kamuntu in Kamwokya, a Kampala suburb.
The opening ceremony that was attended by high end officials and delegates from foreign agencies witnessed beautiful hotel rooms as management showcased an array of hotel facilities to guests coupled with a cocktail session.

While addressing guests during the opening ceremony, Minister for Tourism Professor Ephraim Kamuntu said that; ‘’Its of great honor to have new Hilton Garden Inn facility open shop for the first time in Uganda for business, the hotel industry contributes greatly to Uganda’s GDP and also avails a number of opportunities to Ugandan youth now that the country has a big unemployment problem, we are so much convinced the hotel will provide employment to numbers of Ugandans and also offer the high end hospitality and relaxation to guests who either travel to Uganda for business or leisure’’.
The decors and events planning during the launch ceremony was done by Talent Africa Events.
On a another note, Hilton Garden Inn hotels and resorts chain is this year celebrating 100 years of offering the best hospitality globally.
