Taxify has introduced a new application that will allow Ugandans enjoy even more rides with their new XL feature Application.
The XL feature is a great new innovation designed for those travelling or are willing to ride in groups of people. The feature comprises of two categories basically the standard category that accommodates upto more than four people and the boda category that takes on only one individual.
The XL feature is aimed at giving people the chance of travelling upto six people having learnt of the demand in the transport market and ideally also for families willing to use the Taxify platform.
For a driver to qualify operating on the XL category, they are required to have a valid driving permit and a National ID thus giving safety and security to the passengers. Also the manufacture year for their vehicles must be from 2000 onwards and have a third party insurance sticker that covers upto 6 people.
Taxify maintains the standard to offer drivers a great experience and therefore believes in treating its drivers with respect, allowing them to earn more than what they receive on any other platform, and providing a range of features that help them work in the way that suits them best. Taxify XL will launch at a 10% discount with fares at 2,500 UGX Base fare, 150 UGX per Minute, 850 UGX per KM and 6000 UGX Minimum Fare. Taxify will compensate the drivers with bonuses to compensate for the discounted price. Taxify takes a commission of 15%.
