Incumbent Miss World 2018, Vanessa Ponce De Leon received a warm reception together with her entourage at Entebbe International Airport on Tuesday afternoon.
Upon arrival, she was welcomed by the Miss Uganda Academy of Queens led by Quin Abenakyo, Brenda Nanyonjo and Talent Africa CEO, Ali Alibhai. She is currently in the Pearl of Africa to grace the Miss Uganda beauty pageants finale taking place this Friday at the Kampala Sheraton hotel.
Vanessa Ponce De Leon traveled alongside Miss World CEO –Julia Morley together with the Miss world team and in partnership with the Miss Uganda Foundation and Talent Africa group, they are scheduled for a State visit with activities such as; Tours, engaging with the beauty with a purpose project in Busoga and thereafter conclude with the official crowning of the Miss Uganda Pageant 2019 finale on Friday July 26th 2019.
Other Judges scheduled to make verdict during the event will include popular Ugandan Socialite Zari Hassan.
The Crowning ceremony will commence at exactly 7pm as tickets go for Shs 40k General, Shs 80k VIP & Shs 4m for a table.
