Kampala 14th March 2016 -Rally aces Ronald Sebuguzi, Arthur Blick Junior and Speedway motorsport club have collectively received a total of Shs.150,000, 000 sponsorship for motorsport activities from Vivo Energy Uganda.
Both champions Ronald Sebuguzi and Arthur Blick Junior received 65,000,000 million each from Shell V-Power and Shell Helix respectively, while Speedway motorsport received Shs.20,000,000 from Shell Advance as sponsorship towards the motocross championship.
The sponsorship from Vivo Energy Uganda – the company that distributes and markets Shell Fuels and Lubricants, will greatly facilitate and enhance the rallying careers of the two champions, and the whole rallying fraternity in Uganda.
Speaking at the handover ceremony at Shell Bukoto, Vivo Energy Managing Director, Hans Paulsen commended Sebuguzi and Blick for their brilliant and proficient expertise in the field of rallying and encouraged them to utilize the equally proficient Shell products (Shell VPower, Shell Helix and Shell Advance) to propel them to achieve the highest possible opportunities in their respective rallying careers.
He noted that Shell V-Power is a high quality fuel that delivers improved responsiveness and power, actively cleans the engine and protects vital vehicle parts for better performance, giving drivers a more exciting drive. This sponsorship creates a platform for Ronald Sebuguzi as the Shell V-Power ambassador to demonstrate this excitement to our consumers and remind them of the benefits of Shell VPower.
The sponsorship also creates an opportunity for Arthur Blick Junior as the brand ambassador for Shell Helix to demonstrate to our consumers the ultimate protection provided by the lubricant for their engines and the extra responsiveness and efficiency it provides.
Paulsen also assured customers of the company’s commitment to meet consumer needs through continuous innovation to improve product offering and giving customers the quality fuels they deserve.
