This is the last workshop in the Ayurveda dosha series. Ayurveda, the sister of Yoga, is the science of longevity. It helps us to live in harmony with the laws of nature and maintain balance between the fundamental energies, or doshas. The 3 doshas are: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha.
In April we will learn a little about what Ayurveda tells us about Kapha Dosha, do a Kapha balancing asana/movement practice, and explore breathing practices, mindfulness, and other lifestyle habits that Ayurveda recommends for balancing Kapha.
When Kapha is out of balance we can feel stuck: physically, emotionally, and mentally. You may find that you get cold very easily, you may struggle to loose weight, and excess kapha leads to excess attachment (which can play out as jealousy or greed). If any of this resonates with your experience, now or in the past, this workshop can be very useful! Even if this doesn’t describe you, learning about the doshas help you build your awareness and deepen your practice.
Please contact Angela on 0701428399 to reserve your spot.
+ Please bring a mat and water. A shawl or kikoi for savasana if you want.
+ The workshop is from 10-12, then hang out and eat lunch!
