The weekend beginning Friday 13th to Sunday 15th November 2020 will be quite busy on Uganda’s social and digital scene with a number of events lined up for the different individuals right from digital events to tours and E-Conference events.

01. AmCham Uganda Thanksgiving Celebration 2020
The American Chamber of Commerce of Uganda will this Friday host the Celebration. Thanksgiving is a national holiday in the United States, celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November. It originated as a harvest festival. Thanksgiving has been celebrated nationally since 1789, with a proclamation by George Washington after a request by Congress.
With the ever increasing number of Americans in Uganda, the American Chamber of Commerce has always found it prudent to organize the Thanksgiving celebrations for them, Members and well-wishers to come together and celebrate the American way.
This year, more than ever, Thanksgiving will hold more meaning at the end of the year that has immensely challenged the world over.
The Chamber organizes this event through sponsorships and donations from its Members and other parties. At the event, raffle draws are held and proceeds given to selects Charity organizations/ NGOs to help the disadvantaged people within communities. This year, the Celebrations will take place on Friday 13th November 2020 at Sheraton Hotel starting 3pm to 8pm.
02. The LOG Conversations with Fred Muwema this Friday
Tune in to learn more about the League of the Genuine (LOG) and the fight against Counterfeits (a.k.a fakes) with Fred Muwema.
This event will be streaming live on FaceBook, YouTube and all LOG social media platforms this Friday. This event is hosted by Anti Counterfeit Network Africa.
03. Maternal & Child Health Training this Saturday
The Maternal & Child Health Training will be taking place this Friday 14th November 2020 at Bristol College of Management and Health Sciences in Nsambya, Kampala Uganda. The Training will prepare individuals to improve the health and well-being of vulnerable and undeserved women, children, and families.
The training starts at 8AM
04. 2020 KHOSA Dinner at Kampala Sheraton Hotel
Kigezi High School Old Students Association will be hosting their 2020 Dinner at the Kampala Sheraton Hotel Ballroom and Zoom this Saturday 14th November.
Arch Guest will be the Prime Minister of Uganda Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda.
