07th Nov, 2016 – Airtel Uganda has announced Mr. Indrajeet Kumar Singh as the new Marketing Director. The announcement was made by Anwar Soussa, Airtel Uganda’s Managing Director at the telecom company’s offices. He takes over from Mr. Prason Lal who left Airtel Uganda in Mid-August 2016 to pursue other opportunities.
Mr. Indrajeet joins Airtel Uganda from Airtel Rwanda where he worked as the Commercial Director. He has an impressive record, with 12+ years of experience in the telecommunication industry.
Mr. Indrajeet’s last role in India was with MPCG circle where he was the Deputy General Manager for Data and Value Added Services. He later moved to Essar Telecom Kenya where he worked as the Country Head of Usage and revenue/Vas later joining Airtel Kenya as Country Usage and Retention Manager.
Commenting on the appointment, Airtel Uganda Managing Director, Mr. Anwar Soussa said “I am confident that under Indrajeet’s leadership, we will continue to deliver the greatest services & customer understanding to our customers in Uganda.
Mr. Indrajeet who holds an MBA from IBS and is also software engineer. He has been associated with Bharti Airtel since 2004.
