Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) run Nakivubo blue Primary School earlier today unveiled their new 3 roomed Classroom block revamped by dfcu bank.
This follows Ugshs 85 Million project the bank embarked on last year August to make Education for children from low income earning families affordable at no cost.
Dfcu bank Head of Marketing, Jude Kansime said the contribution was part of the bank’s efforts to positively impact the lives of various communities in and around their business operations.
He added that guaranteeing a decent learning environment for over 200 pupils each year will go a long way in providing an avenue for children in communities to receive basic education in a conducive environment.
KCCA’s Acting Director Education and Social services Mr. Ambrose Atwoko also commented that they are targeting over 100 more KCCA schools to make sure all are revamped.
It should be noted that the current revamped block was a former firewood store.
