Emirates announced that it will increase its flights to and from Cairo beginning October 29, 2022, giving travellers more alternatives for connecting to Dubai as well as the opportunity to experience the Emirates A380’s trademark features.
The airline will fly to Cairo four times per day, three times on the A380 and once on the Boeing 777. This represents a huge increase from the current 25 weekly flights between the two cities of Dubai and Cairo.
Outside of Dubai, Cairo has the highest deployment of Emirates A380 services in the MENA area. With an additional 2,200 weekly seats, the additional services and increased seat capacity on the Dubai-Cairo route will help fulfil increasing demand to and from Cairo and promote the country’s tourism industry.
EK925, Emirates’ third A380 aircraft to Cairo, will depart Dubai at 20:40 and arrive at 22:55. The following day, EK926 will depart Cairo at 00:40 hrs. and arrive in Dubai at 06:10 hrs.
The Emirates A380 is a popular passenger aeroplane, and it’s easy to see why. On flights to Cairo, the new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft features Emirates’ award-winning service and industry-leading products, including private suites in first class, lie-flat seats in business class, and wide seats in economy class.
Emirates has operated three weekly flights to Cairo since April 1986.
To meet client demand, the service has steadily expanded with increases in both frequency and capacity between Cairo and Dubai. According to OAG, Cairo to Dubai was one of the top three routes in Africa in terms of seat capacity, with 123,408 seats.
Overall, Emirates’ operations to and from Cairo have made a significant contribution to the local economy and tourism industry, bringing visitors from all over the world.
