Emirates Skywards has surpassed a previous milestone with more than 30 million members registered globally. Emirates and FlyDubai’s award-winning loyalty programme is celebrating with amazing deals and a chance to win a million Skywards Miles.
The loyalty programme has developed and expanded over the last 20 years to become one of the most recognisable and highly regarded loyalty programmes in the world. Emirates Skywards is continually redefining the loyalty experience for customers, both in the air and on the ground, with industry-leading initiatives, cutting-edge product offers, and more than 150 brand partners.

Emirates will serve specially branded cupcakes to customers on a few flights between January 30 and February 1, 2023. From January 23 to February 4, 2023, the loyalty programme will also be releasing wonderful treats to commemorate the achievement.
Emirates Skywards members, including 3.7 million in the UK, 3 million in the US, 2.2 million in the United Arab Emirates, 2.1 million in Australia, and 2.1 million in India.
The loyalty programme draws more than 120,000 new members a month on average. Between April 2021 and March 2022, Emirates Skywards welcomed more than 1.4 million new members just in the previous year. Emirates Skywards welcomed more than 1.4 million members between April 2021 and March 2022.
Emirates Skywards has increased and varied its brand relationships since the program’s founding in 2000 in order to give its users more creative methods to accrue and use Miles. Currently, there are more than 150 partners in the reward programme, including 16 airlines, more than 100 hotels, 33 banking institutions, 22 retailers and lifestyle companies, and 7 car rental companies.
More than 140 billion miles were redeemed by members between 2018 and 2022 for flights, more than 1.8 billion miles for hotel stays, more than 10 billion miles for shopping, and more than 150 million miles for experiences that money can’t buy at prestigious sporting events like the US Open, Roland Garros, Grand Prix Miami, and others.
Dubai-based airlines, Emirates and flydubai, recently celebrated five years of strategic partnership. Since 2017, more than 11 million passengers have enjoyed seamless connectivity across the joint network to more than 211 destinations across 100 countries. Over the past five years, more than 8.5 million Emirates Skywards members have earned 150 billion Skywards Miles through the Emirates and flydubai partnership.
The world’s largest international airline has also recently activated a codeshare agreement with Air Canada, and expanded the partnership to offer frequent flyer members joint loyalty programme benefits. Skywards members are now able to earn and redeem Miles across Air Canada’s network. Emirates Skywards Platinum and Gold members travelling in Economy Class with Air Canada or Emirates can also enjoy airport lounge access in Toronto.
