Ethiopian Airlines has stressed out that the Ethiopian Airspace is safe for travelers and highly secured following an earlier on illegal strike of the Ethiopian Civil Aviation Traffic controllers since 31st August 2018.

The Airlines has been working closely with the Civil Aviation Authority and air traffic volunteer controllers, instructors and ATC controllers hired from external African countries.
As a result, all Ethiopian Airlines scheduled and unscheduled flights and other airlines operating to/from Ethiopia have been operating smoothly with high standards of flight punctuality and safety.
In the meantime there have been no flight delays or cancellation caused by ATC and business is ongoing as usual.
