The motor tour that left revealers and participants exhilarated saw then call upon the organizers to have the event.

The rally participants were treated to a tour at Kabwoya Wildlife Reserve where they interacted with different animals and birds besides visiting the oil well in the park.

Among the participants was rally driver Rajiv Ruparelia who also had say to the organisers about having more of such rallies and tours.

“This has been fun. I appeal to the organisers to add us another one next year which is bigger than this. We have had fun today and let’s wait for tomorrow,” Ruparelia said.

National motocross team captain Maxime Van Pee also added that such trips should be regular because they not only help people to know their country better but also helps people deal with stress from work and competition for the case of active athletes.

“I’m having fun and I can assure you that next year I am on board. I have had the experience of riding a bike for over 200kms and I am very excited,” he said.

The three-day motorsport adventure tour ended on Sunday with a prize-giving ceremony in Mbarara after touring Kasese.

The 950km adventure tour organised by United Motorsport Club (UMOSPOC) and Enduro Uganda started on Friday at Kabira Country Club and targets the promotion of safety on the roads, tourism, and environmental protection which is in line with the objectives of the world motorsport governing body FIA.

Day one covered 340kms from Kampala to Kapeeka, Bukomero, Kabwoya Wildlife Reserve, and Hoima where they planted bamboo trees on Sunday morning.

Day two covered 230kms from Hoima through Kagadi, Semuliki National Park and Sempaya Hot springs in Bundibugyo.
