According the statement of offence, Tom Mukasa between the 07th and 16th April 2021 while at plot 9 Rashid Khamis road at Old Kampala, Kampala district with intent to defraud, obtained money worth USD33,000 (Thirty three thousand United states dollars) from Munir Ndaula the victim through falsely pretending to import him the mentioned car whereas not. When efforts to have and receive the Range Rover Vogue by Ndaula turned futile, a legal suit was filed at the Police CID headquarters (SID Kireka) under reference GEF 192/2021 on September 26th, 2021.

Mr Ndaula added, ‘’that since making the payment to the alleged remanded  Tom Mukasa, he started playing cat and dog games until he wasn’t picking up the my calls anymore hence embarking on the hunt of the fraudster that led to his arrest’’.

Tom Mukasa’s efforts for a bail application were denied after the Director of Public Prosecution Judge Jane Francis Abodo turned the plea saying the accused has no clear area of residence yet even tracking and arresting him costed some good time thus his remand to Kitalya until October 11 when the next court hearing will take place at the Law Development Centre court in Wandegeya

However, Mr Ndaula Munir, the victim insists that Tom Mukasa the accussed must repay back his Shs130 million after promises to bring him the said car failed.
